In my role at Align, every day is different. I like to see myself as a facilitator as I work to provide solutions for my team, including scheduling, providing team feedback to assure customer satisfaction, training, and improving our program to meet our customers’ specific needs. Our department maintains an open channel of communication with our customer service team to ensure continued success. Each day I strive to show my team that I care about them. Through their mentoring and leadership by example, I have learned how to do things more effectively and efficiently.
Align is like a second family to me. It feels like home. I started working for Align as a technician in 2004. I feel as if I’ve grown up here. Software now automatically performs time-consuming manual tasks, the manufacturing process is more automated, and processes are more standardized, greatly improving our product delivery time to our customers. It’s a thrill to see some of the changes, and I am thrilled to have the privilege to assist so many people.
Align has definitely helped me become a better professional by providing the support and guidance to learn how to lead more competently and how to serve others better. I had the opportunity to improve my English when I was younger, which I believe helped create the opportunity to move to a different department. I like the environment and I feel so fortunate to be part of this company. At Align, you will definitely need to work hard but the opportunities are worth it.
Since the publishing of this article, Giovanna has moved to a new position within Align. Today, she is Database Administrator.
